The European Coordination is constituted of legal entities and individuals that approve of its goals and
uphold the present bylaws.
They are divided among:
-
regular members: international or European associations, associations in countries of the European
Union;
-
associate members: individuals, not subject to yearly fees (art. 4, Bylaws).
It is important to join the European Coordination and uphold its actions so that European and national
laws and regulations respect the rights of immigrant families. Associations can join the Coordination by
paying annual membership fees.
The following fees were established by the General Assembly:
International associations € 200,00
National associations € 150,00
Local associations € 100,00.
These membership fees help defray the running costs of the Coordination
Associations that keep their membership current can take an active part in the Coordination, vote in the
General Assembly, and offer to serve on the Board of Administration and the Executive Committee. They can thus
help determine our political orientation and make sure that our decisions are carried out effectively.
Individuals who wish to contribute to the life of the Coordination may also do so and participate in the
General Assembly. As they do not pay membership fees, they are not allowed to vote, but they may share their
ideas in order to help the Coordination advance. .
Both regular members and associate members are admitted by decision of the Board, to whom their requests
should be submitted.
Aside from being able to participate actively in all statutory meetings, members are kept informed of the
activities and the directions taken by the Coordination.
